introduction
The TOXTOX browser is a Mozilla based 10 foot browser for your television. Packed with features, it will provide a real multi-media experience for your bed- or livingroom while its controls remain easy and accessible with a keyboard or a remote control.
With built-in support for Jabber/XMPP, TOXTOX will be a platform for new and innovative social and interactive media, enabling your TV with real 2.0 power. Users can customize TOXTOX the way they like it to work and look by installing user-contributed addons and themes.
Currently TOXTOX is still in ist early stages of development. A 'stable' version is released every now and then. To keep up with the latest features - and you don't mind a minor itch - a nightly build or a fresh checkout from subversion trunk are the best choices.

Downloading TOXTOX is easy. Getting it to work is another story ;-).
If you download a full-version package most of it should be running straight away. The windows installer is known to work on Windows XP and Vista 32bit.

If you want to try a version from source or the xulapp version make sure you install the required dependencies: Xulrunner and the VLC Mozilla plugin.
